How do I choose the right therapist?

Is everything I say in therapy confidential?

Yes, with few exceptions. Your privacy is paramount. This is your space to be open without judgment. We are legally required to report if you express intent to harm yourself or others, or in cases of child or elder abuse.

How do I know if therapy is right for me?

The first session is mostly about getting to know you—your background, what’s been going on, and what you’d like to work on. It’s also a chance for you to ask questions and see if we’re a good fit.

What can I expect in my first session?

If you're experiencing persistent emotional distress, difficulty managing daily life, or a desire for personal growth, therapy may be beneficial. Many find it helpful even without a crisis.

Do you offer in person sessions?

No, Sessions are completed online at this time.

How much does therapy cost?

We’ll discuss fees before your first appointment. Many people use insurance, and I also offer options for those paying out of pocket.

Most important is that you are located in a space where you have privacy to complete your session. Some people bring a notebook, a list of topics, or even a comfort item like tea or a fidget tool.

Individuals in active psychosis, schizophrenia, unmanaged Bipolar disorder, and those with active suicidal ideations.

It depends on your goals and situation. Some people come for a few months, while others choose longer-term support.
